Indeed, so far the Digital Age has meant that startups such as Uber have managed to create an entirely new model of how businesses work and in the process, engaging and driving a Creative Destruction Frenzy that has seen the likes of the traditional medallion taxis firms being rendered obsolete. Everywhere we see technological acceleration and the speed and connectivity model is upending age old methods of working and is destroying reputed and long standing businesses that failed to make the necessary adjustments and transition to survive and prosper in the Digital Age.
